Walker & F C Wheeler - London)Mark Of Origin / Assay Office: Lion (London Assay Office)Date Letter: U (Year Item Was Hallmarked - 1895)There are NO Monograms on the Caudle Cup This has been superbly designed being in the form of a miniature cup, with a serpent snake handle. There is a cartouche that has not been used. The cartouche is flanked on both sides, with a Lion to the Left & a Bird on the Right. It is also chased around the upper part with Flowers, and also is completely chased with Flowers around the entire bottom circumference. It appears to be in excellent condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs. A beautiful and unusual piece.
