Description: Antique Peruvian Chancay Funerary Burial Dolls Over 500 Years Old Husk Stuffed In remarkable condition for their age, they were made between 1000-1500 AD. Each female is unique, one brown skinned with a braided headband. The middle one is more intricately dressed and likely the matriarch of the family. All are holding hands. They're affixed to a sturdy pillow filled with husks, and have a cloth hanger. Wouldn't it be amazing if they could tell their story... Did the matriarch's son marry someone from another tribe? Did the daughter die early, or was she a sister? Where did the matriarch get her wealth/stature... From the estate of an avid ethnic doll collector. Measures 5" high and 6" across.
