Description: From the estate of my late mother, who owned an import shop in the 1970s, this stunning tile was purchased on one her many trips abroad. Prevalent in 19th century architecture, this glazed tile depicts a rider extending his hand towards the Huma falcon. Only royalty is associated with the shadow of Huma, suggesting the rider is a prince. Huma embodies health and strength. Tile measures 8 1/4" x 5 3/4". Overall condition is very good with the exception of one corner chip on the back (see last photo). This is not visable from the front. Smoke free home.
