Description: Circa 1920 Navajo Ganado Rug. Larger handmade rug measuring 54" x 78". Brilliant red background with evenly spaced stepped diamonds surrounding small crosses. There are long lazy lines throughout the weaving. Very rich red color variations to the field. Colors include Red, Grey, Indigo, and Cream. The rug is tightly woven with a softer supple yarn. There is slight selvege wear on the corners with the sides tight. There is a small amount of stains on the left cream border. These look to be a natural stain that I believe could be cleaned.
