Description: This offer is for one antique museum specimen jar. The jar is hand blown with a ground glass stopper and is used. The size is 11 7/8th inches tall by 2 7/8th 1.3 quarts inches in diameter and it holds about 1.3 quarts. The jar body is in good condition, and there is a rim chip as you can see in the pictures. The ground glass stopper may have one or more cracks which do not penetrate the top fully. These cracks have not compromised the integrity of the seal during my use of the jar for specimen holding. The ground glass lid has two small bottom chips, which do not interfere with a tight seal. The jar would make an outstanding and authentic addition to any preserved specimen collection.Sorry but no International shipping is offered.Breakage note: In the rare event the jar is damaged in transit, do not throw out any packing material or boxes. Take photos of everything, breakage, outer packaging and inner packaging and send to me, the more photos the better. Then ship back the broken item at my expense and I will refund your full price. Thank you for looking.
