Description: An antique miniature German porcelain figurine of a Girl with a Hen. The figurine is of outstanding quality and is bit of a mystery - it has an above glaze Carl Theodor mark, and I know model 2281 (by Kaendler in 1755) is the same design but that is larger. I suspect this is a Nymphenburg / Frankenthal version. This figurine is just under 3 inches tall and is just over 3 inches wide. There are some small loses to the applied flowers and leaves on the base, loss to the handle on the basket, and a pinpoint fleabite on the back rim of her hat. Please see the photos for details.
