Description: AMAZING ESTATE DISCOVERY! Antique ceremonial Masonic sword discovered in an attic compartment This steel sword is manufactured by Pettibone Bros. Manufacturing Company of Cincinnati, OH The Pettibone Brothers was most active between 1880 and 1920. The etching also includes crosses. Similar symbols are also cast in the fittings of both the sword and scabbard. Etched bone handle, and helmet tip. The blade and scabbard are in good condition, with extensive etched decoration to the blade. Some pitting, and oxidation to scabbard is indicated. Sword measures 36”long with Scabbard. Such a rare discovery makes a wonderful addition to any Masonic collection
