Description: Victorian Era Porcelaine de TERRE Imperial England John Edwards Luxembourg From the 19th century, an antique shaving mug of rustic elegance, in white and brown, decorated with thin brown branches, leaves, twigs, and bees, with gold trim on the upper rim and handle. A piece of ceramic artistry, embracing an earthy aesthetic, emphasizing the mug's role not just as a functional item but as a piece of fine decor. It stands 3 ½” high and 5” across with the handle. The bottom stamp is missing the P in “Porcelaine” and “John” didn’t quite spell out due to the indented makers mark on the bottom. The Porcelaine De Terre Trademark John Edwards England dates to 1880-1900. There is a tiny chip on the rim of the base and a bruise inside the lip. There has also been some wear to the gold trim on the lip and handle. But the display is not harmed, and it is still a striking piece from the last century.
