Check it out !!!!Impressive, Antique & Unique,1800's Carved Wood BIBLE / DOCUMENT BOX, weighs 7 1/2 lbs, 8" high, 15 1/2" long and 11 3/4" deep, decorated with carved Vines, Berries & Foliage, monogramed MJS on top, flower handles, paneled corners, and a heart shaped key slot in the front. Dark wood painted black. The interior was originally a red velvet type material which sadly has been removed, but here you could add your own touch with antique material / wallpaper. There is smudging and some small chips, a large crack on the bottom (picture 7) A chip to the back corner (picture 5). The lock is missing a connecting piece (picture 11). With a little TLC can be an impressive piece for your home.My listings are mostly all used, vintage or antique condition.
