Description: Up for sale is this Antique book, possibly a salesman sample titled Friths Photo - Pictures The Lake District. There is no other text except for small captions identifying each photo. The photos measure about 6 1/4” x 4”, the pages about 11 1/4” x 8 1/2. The inscriptions look to be in pencil and the photos are laid onto the pages, not printed. It does show considerable wear to the covers and page edges and there is some spotting and soiling, but mostly outside of the images. I am unable to find another example of this work, there is no publisher or date. Most of Friths work I saw was around 1880. Please view all twelve photos to help judge condition.
