Description: Beautiful Fourmaintraux Freres Desvres Hand-Painted French Faience chamberstick. Rare piece. Hand painted in colors of cobalt, green, rust and yellow over a cream/white background and is signed "FF" for Fourmaintraux Freres and numbered. There are a few small chips with some roughness at the very top & at the top of the handle. There are cracks where the pillars of the candle holder meet the base plate - these cracks look to have formed in the manufacturing process as the clear glaze is over them. Approx: 8” long x 6 ¼” wide x 5 ¼” tall. Please see all photos (zoom/enlarge) for complete condition.
