Description: This is a wonderful hand carved pie crust type frame with beautifully worn silver gray patina. Under the glass is an antique hand tinted photograph of a bridge, boats and people in Audubon Park, New Orleans around the turn of the last century. The glass was very dirty and many of the nails which held the picture in this frame were rusty or missing. I removed the nails, took out the glass and cleaned it. At that time I could see the pencil identification on the photo reading “Audubon Park”. I put the whole thing back together with new framing points, backing and hanger. Piece measures approximately 12”x 14” overall. The photo itself is approximately 6”x 8”. This is a beautiful antique piece of art and carries a lot of Louisiana history and charm. Shipped quickly and carefully. Thanks for looking!
