Description: Antique English Mahogany Tilt Top Candle Stand Circa 1760 A good English mahogany tilt top candle stand, George III, circa 1760. The table features a carved and turned tripod base, with cabriole legs and snake feet. This is a larger size candle stand. The top is 22" diameter, and the height is 26". With a gorgeous old finish, rich in color and patination. There are some condition issues to note. There is a repair to the base and one leg has been rebuilt, see photo close-ups. One of the legs has some sun bleaching on the knee. The single board top has a significant warp and there are some splits in the top as well. Please view all photos carefully.
