Description: Antique Embossed Miniature Oil Lamp, circa early 1900's. Often referred to as 'Christmas Tree' or 'Shag' design, with gold ribs painted vertically around the lamp base and shade.. Milk Glass Base (approximately 2.5" tall) + matching cone-shaped chimney (nearly 3" tall). Burner adds more height for a total of 6.5". There is no wick but the wick turner turns and indicates Acorn burner. The shade has a ground lip on the top & bottom. It is in good clean condition with the following issues & priced accordingly: There is inconsistency in the gold paint application (some overrun but also some missing). There is a small chip in the base as shown in the last photo; there is an indent near the top of the shade but it is very smooth and seems more like a manufacturing flaw. Both are difficult to see given the allover pattern of the lamp. The top is a bit wobbly - our thinking is the burner bottom is original whereas the top might've been replaced as it is lighter in color & shinier. This was part of a collection I had in the 1970's/80's. We are a smoke free home.
