Description: Antique Fraternal ELKS B. P. O. E. Clothing Buttons. VERY RARE and nearly impossible to find a complete set. They have been dated to the 1880s by the lettering and the way the shank is attached to the back. This is for a FULL SET of 12 Larger 3/4" Silver Buttons and 6 Small Buttons that are 1/2". They have the Elk Head on the front with BPOE and the back is marked Superior Quality. These are for jackets, coats, cuffs. Most of the items that I sell are antique or vintage as as such they do show signs of patina, use, and age. That only adds to the character that so many collectors desire. If there are any major issues or defects, I try to describe them to the best of my ability and as accurately as possible.
