The bowl is joined by wafer to a Bigler pattern foot/standard. This exact bigler pattern foot is also used with other patterns (I’ve had it with sharp diamonds and another pattern which escapes me at the moment). Long sustained ringing tone when flicked with a finger. INVERTED DIAMOND (AKA) by Unknown Maker (Unknown Location, Operated: Unknown), c1860s Introduced SIZE: 6” Diameter x 4.5” tall CONDITION REPORT: Used. Very nice antique condition, the top of the flat rim has a small & shallow sliver chip (photographed), no cracks, no excessive use-wear. It has manufactured occasional annealing “straw marks”, especially inside the standard. It has tiny/small “seed” air bubbles throughout. It has age-appropriate use-wear scuffs on the foot bottom. Long sustained ringing tone when flicked with a finger. The glass is bright and clear without any cloudiness or sickness whatsoever. This item has no significant damages, but it may show light use-wear consistent with age and prior service.
