Description: Antique Chinese Orange Child Tiger Hat Detailed Silk Handmade Embroidered. This detailed beautiful example of a child's protective hat designed for boys in China, shows wear consistent with age and us. The back flap is hanging by a few threads and would benefit by being reattached completely. Please see the photos as they are considered part of the description. The decorative curls on either side of the tiger face have come undone. Some of the stripes, the thread has been worn off on the sides. The back of the tail, the silk is worn. The applique shows detail of animals all around the sides from deer to birds and other animals, perhaps a monkey. The sides are approximately 6" long from the top to the bottom of the sides and the back with the flap is approximately 9" long. That does not include the height of the tail.
