Description: A magnificent antique, completely hand sewn and hand embroidered child's festival hat in silk with a silk lining and heavy padding. Probably a tiger, it has four eyes and ears in mostly orange and blue and a backflap beautifully decorated with outlined appliqué. It also has ear flaps with floral embroidery. On top of the head is what appears to be an orange tail. A wonderfully fanciful piece. This was made for a child, probably Qing Dynasty. The condition is very good. It shows signs of age/wear visible in the photos.
