Description: Payment | Shipping Antique CHARLES CUMBERWORTH (1811-1852) BRONZE FIGURE OF A NUBIAN WOMAN Statue For sale is this stunning bronze statue by French artist Charles Cumberworth (1811-1852). This dates to 1825-60, and depicts the bronze figure of a Nubian woman wearing a loosely draped dress and turban, carrying a water urn in her right hand, on a circular naturalistic base. This is signed on the base and has a mid brown/golden bronze patination. Please note photos are with flash so the color is a bit lightened and any slight age imperfections in the patina are magnified and are not at all apparent on display. The bronze measures 16.5" tall x 5.5" wide. She comes with an appraisal certificate with a value of $4,000. This is priced for a quick sale, in time for the holidays. Thank you so much for looking!
