Description: Antique Cast Iron Enamel Lined Tripod Foot Pan, Handle, CROWN F King Frederick Click images to enlarge Description ANTIQUE CAST IRON KING FREDERICK PAN Interesting and unusual substantial cast iron deep skillet round pan measuring about 8-3/4" wide and 2-1/3" deep. Pan interior is lined in solid enamel, and handle is solder mounted - unusual sturdy pierced design to the cone shape end. Bearing the CROWN F and PATENT mark on the handle for King Frederick, it dates to around the turn of last century. Underside is designed with three molded feet as shown. Condition is very nice with no breaks, cracks, rust or damage to the cast iron - lots of usage wear and discoloration on the back from contact with a wood burning stove top or open flame - the interior enamel is without chips or flaking, but has very fine craquelure from age - does not detract a bit. The weld mark on the handle bracket mount is a bit crude, but I see no indication of a repair. Think this is such an unusual old cast iron cooking pan - it weighs about 3.5 pounds! Nice addition to any kitchen cast iron collection or antique cookware display! If questions, please contact me! Pictures sell! Auctiva offers Free Image Hosting and Editing.300+ Listing Templates!
