Description: This listing is for a restored antique cast iron long handled camp spider with cover. Both the spider handle and the lid/ cover have 10 IN embossed on them. (SEE PHOTOS) The cover has the capital letters GU embossed on the inner surface, which is gate marked. This is a seriously old holloware combo. These pieces had plenty of rust when I acquired them and they obviously have suffered a lot of pitting, much moreso the cover than the spider. The cooking surface is pretty smooth except for some pitting in part of the edge. The spider sits solidly on its 3 legs with no wobble on my glass top oven, and the cover has a slight rock when laid on the same surface. The spider has an outer diameter of 9 5/8", and the outer diameter of the cover well is right at 10". The set together weighs just over 10 lbs before packing. I see NO CRACKS in either piece. Please look closely at the photos I have posted as they can tell you more than I can describe. I am selling the items USED and AS IS.
