Description: This piece is such a unique piece. It has a sticker on it from an auction that looks like from a gazillion years ago. It has a Victorian cameo with cherubs throughout the entire piece. The outer shell of this is a sage green plastic which comes with discoloration cracks, marks, scratches, scuffs but it is still entirely intact. The front latch is broken. It is missing the piece that actually latches so the rest of the hardware is there. When you open the box up. You have almost like a casket like feel on the inside. Some of the roping needs to be reglued and there is ripping on the silk lining as shown primarily. On the bottom part, the top part the silk looks pretty good and the beveled glass mirror is in place with the velvet border which is also in very good condition. They are three little areas in the corners on the inside that are underneath the silk that are put there to hold. Maybe earrings or something of the smaller sort. The box closed up measures 13.5 in wide by 11 in deep by 4 in tall. Be sure to see every single photo that I took for condition and if you're looking for mint condition, this is not for you. Although this is antique and I have not seen another like it. This item will be shipped via UPS there for it cannot be shipped to a PO box. If you have any questions please ask.
