Description: Two nice wooden Aircraft Propeller Blades. Each blade measure approximately 38 inches in length. Both blades have a mechanical ring at the bottom. This leads me to believe it could be a variable pitch prop (hydro-static) just like the photo ad for the Hartzell Propellers. This enabled the pilot to adjust the blade pitch for increased performance and speed through hydraulic advantage, as opposed to a constant pitch propeller. I’m not positive that it’s a Hartzell but it has the same shape and characteristics as the one in the ad. Each blade also has the metal reinforcement on the leading edge. This is normal on wood props. The blades are in good shape. No chips in the wood. However, as you can see, the dark stain does have its issues. Perhaps you can strip it and re-do or leave as is. This will be a great addition to a collection of aviation products or to re-purpose each blade into a decorative item. You will be receiving both blades. The total weight of both blades for shipping is 25 pounds before packing. I have shipping set for FedX Ground because that appears to be the cheapest option.
