SEE EARLY PHOTO OF THIS EXACT LOCATION.This lovely British painting was acquired by me at Sotheby's Chicago in 1999. Sotheby's purchased Hindman Auction House in the late '90s in order to have a Chicago auction-house presence. Sadly, this location only lasted for a few short years, as the Dot Com Crash of 2000 forced them to leave Chicago for good. Sotheby's auction tag included.
