Description: A 1923 Grace Storey Putnum, 14" Bye Lo Doll with blue glass eyes, Bent (Frog) Legs, 12" Circumference Bisque Head, Bisque Hands with finger nails, faint blonde eyebrows, painted nostrils, and individually painted eye lashes. Bisque head is made from fragile porcelain without a glaze to closely resemble the realistic features of skin. This piece was possibly made by the Kestner Porcelain Factory in Germany. This doll has a 10” high body and a 4" high porcelain bisque head, for a combined height of 14". She is dressed in a vintage, possibly original, long blue and white dress and a matching bonnet, as well as a full slip, cloth diaper and knitted booties. The bisque head and hands have no breaks, chips, nor cracks. Her clothing has no major stains or tears but some wear. The 1923 Grace S. Putnum stamp is located on the back of her head.
