Description: French 18th/19th Cent. Oil Painting of St. Jerome with Beard wearing a Red Robe. Measures approx. 5” x 3 ½”. Unsigned as most early Religious Paintings. In a very ornate elaborate gold leafed gesso & wood frame with gilt liner in a shadow box, measuring 12 ¼” x 11” x 2 ¼” deep.Overall in nice condition. There are a few small spots top left painting (see last photo). Frame has a few light marks.
