Antique 1890s Early BRC ROSENTHAL MAGNOLIA Flower Porcelain CHOCOLATE Coffee POT

Description: This antique porcelain chocolate/coffee pot is a true masterpiece of Rosenthal craftsmanship, originating from Kronach, Germany in the late 1890s. Featuring a beautiful magnolia flower pattern, it was hand-painted with great attention to detail and finished with a glossy look. Measuring 8.5 inches in height with lid on, and having a bottom diameter of 5 inches. The front of the pot features two open magnolia flowers while the back has one open magnolia flower painted on it. The top scalloped rim also has about a one inch border of flowers painted around it. Embossed scrolls and feather type leaves adorn this beautiful Victorian era chocolate pot, which is also highlighted with gold paint accents. Bottom is stamped with BRC Fidelio Germany and has a hand written 88BN as well. The BRC mark is from the Bauer Rosenthal partnership that was in place from 1897-1903, when the partnership ceased and Rosenthal retained ownership. An excellent, Rare, early Rosenthal chocolate pot in suburb condition! No chips, cracks, of hairlines. Some very minimal paint loss may be seen, please look at the pictures carefully for details.
