Description: Antique 1880 tintype of two brothers posed in a studio setting. Inscription on the back reads: "John W Wignall; Jas A Wignall; Taken in Mass 1880". Both boys were New Yorkers, though John [1869-1955] was born in NY and James [1866-1924] was born in England. John William Wignall as an adult was a locally popular baritone singer and composer. Good condition with surface wear and creasing. Measures about 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is a 1/6 plate. From a smoke free home. Shipping on multiple items is combined whenever possible.
