The back of the handle has a small monogram at the bottom of the letter P, near the bowl.The back of the handle is hallmarked with the leopard's head for the city of London, the lion passant for sterling silver purity, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter o for the year 1829 and a maker's mark for William Eaton.
