Description: Antique 1823 Ivanhoe a Romance By Sir Walter Scott Pocket Library 4 Volumes ZA6-2 Approximate measurements: 4" x 3.5" These are very unique as I could not find another one like them anywhere. These were found amongst other letters and papers written in German from the 1800s. It's unique that they were written in English when they came from Germany. It seems they were part of a larger collection of the Pocket Library of English Classics, as they are numbered No.62 through No.65 and have roman numerals XLV, XLII, XXXVI, XXXV. In Volumes 2, 3, & 4 there is a signature or inscription of some kind at the bottom that is old (you can tell by the brown ink color), but I cannot make out what it says. They have traveled far and been around a long time, please give them a good home. These do require signature upon delivery so please be sure to plan accordingly.
