The map is from the very rare and important American atlas, A New and Elegant Atlas Comprising All the Important Discoveries to the Present Time, by Aaron Arrowsmith and Samuel Lewis, published in 1804. Samuel Lewis is also of Lewis and Clark fame. Arrowsmith and Lewis were very important cartographers of this period. The size of the map is 9.25" by 11".
