Antique 1771 Sterling Silver Salver or Tray Scotland Edinburgh Robert Clark

Description: DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION Up for sale is a small antique sterling silver tray. The tray has hallmarks for Edinburgh Scotland. I think the maker is Robert Clark and the date stamp is for 1771, but I am not certain. If it isn't 1771, I don't know the date. I think the inscription translates to "Keep this for your girlfriend" but I do not know French so I might have translated wrong. It is monogrammed. The tray measures about 7.5" by just under 5.5" and sits about 1.25" tall. It weighs about 275 grams. There is some wear including pitting and scratches.
