Description: Hi, This auction is for a 14” Bye Lo Baby doll circa 1920 and signed and made by Grace Story Putnam. Solid dome head. Blue glass sleep eyes that work with well, original stamped body, original celluloid hands, and dressed in her original factory dress. The dress fits perfectly, is made of off white organdy, and edged in a commonly made factory lace. The dress does have a dime sized hole which could be mended. Slip is replaced but of the era and the diaper is made of wool flannel and may be original also. Baby has her original stamped body which has had some repairs. Head is in very good condition: excellent color, eyes work well but have lost most of the flesh colored paint on the back of the eyes. The doll was part of a collection from here in the Cleveland area. More dolls coming. The photos should show you the rest of the details.
