All plants are shipped from the largest and fullest to the smallest on a first come first serve basis. All plants are packed on Mondays and Tuesdays ONLY, no exceptions. Plants will be shipped via UPS, USPS will only be used if there is no UPS service within the delivery area. These magnificent plants are grown purely for their leaves as the flowers some would say are insignificant, this is a very stately species which can produce an absolutely mind blowing specimen plant. These plants like bright light but harsh direct sun should be avoided. An eastern exposure with early morning sun will do this plant well. Midday sun is a big no no if you want a truly stunning plant ALL PLANTS ARE SHIPPED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. We follow a very strict rule, we will never ship something we would not be happy to receive ourselves, and we always ship the biggest and best we have at the time an order is placed. DAMAGES: Claims: We have been packing and shipping plants across the USA for over 30 years now with great success, and we take great care to ensure the safe arrival of your order. We insure every box through a third party insurer, NOT the Mail carrier, most of whom have now excluded coverage for damages to live plant material. We video tape the processing and packing of all orders to protect all parties involved in the transaction. If your plant arrives damaged, you must contact us within 24 hours of recorded delivery with pictures of the damages. Failure to do so WITH PROOF OF DAMAGES within 24 hours of delivery can result in your claim being denied for which we will not be held responsible for. After receiving the proof of damages, you will be sent a return label to return the damaged item. This is a mandatory requirement of our insurance carrier as apart of their subrogation process and failure to return, or refusal to return the plant will result in an immediate denial of the claim and its closing without payment, which we will not be held responsible for. Partial refunds are not permitted under the policy. COSMETIC DAMAGES such as a cracked leaf or broken stem that are not detrimental to the survival of the plant are not a covered loss. If you wish to try and file a claim with the mail carrier for such damages, you can contact us with your claim number so we may forward them the video showing the condition of your plant at the time of packing.
