Full number line on copyright page, unclipped DJ with price of $25 on front flap. Book is in Near Fine condition with no noted flaws. No writing other than Jim Harrison’s signature on title page. (Added 10/26: I should add that I have placed the DJ in a removable clear Brodart protector, and the last few pictures show the book with the DJ in protector)This copy has a clear provenance: Back in early March 2016 a friend who worked at Yellowstone let me know that a bookstore in Livingston Montana (Elk River Books) had a few copies of this book that Harrison had signed (JH lived there part time in the last part of his life). I got my friend to send me one, and shortly after I received it I got the news that Harrison passed. So, Harrison was a big deal for me and my friends growing up in rural Michigan in the late 70s-early 80s and once in a while we would get the urge to drive 3 hours to sit in Dick’s Pour House in Omena, up near Traverse and wait for him to show with his local friends. Problem was, we would generally get all sideways and incapable of speech by the time he rolled in, so our meetings were mostly unproductive and ended in being ejected from the bar. Good times!But as a result, I accumulated almost everything JH wrote in 1st editions, and this signed copy of his last published book is the first of this collection I am listing.
