The usual incised details to the head, back and sides of the beetle. Includes a fired clay impression of the underside. The scarab is pierced for suspension as usual. Provenance: Ex-Mustaki Collection. The Mustaki Collection was an old British collection consisting of more than 10,000 Egyptian objects including several significant objects that have gone into museum collections. It was handled exclusively through the world's leading antiquities dealer at the time, London-based James Ede (owner of Charles Ede Ltd.) during the 1990s who carefully vetted and authenticated the collection.
