Description: Lovely petite Mayfair pink depression glass squared-off pitcher. This came from my Mom; she collected pink glass ca. 1940's as movie premiums or in purchases such as laundry detergent. Pitcher is 5-3/4" high X 4-1/2" squared sides. It is in very good condition as regards edge wear. There is an area under lip, next to left top of handle where it is rough from the mold process. It has always been this way to my knowledge, and it has been used for two generations with no change. As you can see from pics, this type of glass was cheaply made at the time, and pieces are often slightly misshapen or have imperfections. It just adds to the vintage charm.
