He is the former managing editor of Social Forces, a journal of sociology published at the University of North Carolina Press. He teaches regularly through the ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research and the Global School of Empirical Research Methods at the University of St. Gallen, the Norwegian Business School, and the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Economics.
