Description: For sale is your choice(s) of Amphenol 83 Series RF-Coax connectors and adapters, left behind in the radio electronics inventory of my late father. He was an active HAM radio operator for over 70 years, and was a radio and other electronics serviceman for much of his life. He always kept a generous inventory of spare and replacement parts on hand, for speedy service calls for his customers, available for walk-in customers to his service shop, and handy for his own electronics projects. All his components were stored in a dry, smoke-free environment. Note that I am only charging shipping for the first item purchased, and any additional items you purchase will be included at no additional shipping charges!! A nice time to stock up on these items in YOUR electronics inventory!! (Fortunately, my dad also left behind a "library" of vintage catalogs, for my husband to help identify and describe these items!) Some he cross-referenced by Mil.Spec. numbers, and we list the parts as "appears to be" numbers, though the Amphenol part number is not on the item. (I just added some Magnavox connectors that I found later.) Here's what we have here: 83-1SP, NOS, still in the original packaging. This is a straight plug, male contacts, non-constant impedance, non-waterproof. It has 5/8-24 thread, and is 1-1/2" long. The mil. spec. number is PL-259. (The numbers on the item are: #02260 and PL-259.) It is for use with RG/U cable # 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 63 and 65. There are two parts. In some of the packages they are assembled, and in other packages they are separate. One of the items is in a Star distributor package, but it is the Amphenol part. 83-1SP, (same as above) NOS parts, but no longer in the original bag. 83-1SP, (same as above) NOS, out of the box, but they are tarnished, or discolored from storage. Still good as new, but not so pretty. 83-1SP, (same as above) This one is used, and still has a cable stub. 83-1SP, Connector, PL-259, 83-1SP on both ends, 4-5/8" long, some tarnish from storage 83-1SP-1050, NOS, still in the package. It appears to be the same, but it is in a different design Amphenol package than those above. We don't know what the 1050 designation means, as we couldn't find it referenced in the vintage catalog we had. 83-1SPN, (83-756) NOS out of the package. The numbers on the plug are 83-756, 74868, 49195. It is for cable max. diameter 0.444". Length 1-9/16". It has a clamp set screw. For cable RG/U # 8,9, 11,13, 63, 87, 149, 213, 214, 216, 225. 83-1SP Connector, with 83-1SP fittings on both ends 83-1SP Connector, with 83-1SP on one end, and right angle UG-594A/U on the other. Belden coax cable RG-8/U, 50 ohms (Lot of 4) 83-185, (appears to be), reducing adapter, #02660 on the part. (small body) It is for RG/U cable 29, 55, 58. UG/U #175, On the part are numbers UG-175 and PL-259. (Lot of 3) 83-168, (appears to be), reducing adapter, #02660 on the part. UG/U No. 176 for RG/U cable # 59, 62, 71. (Lot of 5) 83-168, (appears to be), reducing adapter, #74868 on the part. UG-176/U, #74868 (Appears to be the same part as the one above, but it has a different number on it, so I'll list it separately in case there is a difference.) 83-1F, NOS, in the package, (mistakenly says open box in the listing) straight adapter, 2" long, UG/U #363 for 41/64" diameter mounting hole, UHF Jack to UHF jack adapter. 83-1T, (appears to be), open box, Tee adapter, Mil. #M-358, CPH-49199, 1-5/8" long, appear to be un-used, but show tarnish from storage. MAGNAVOX package (opened) of 9 Co-ax cable twist-on "F" connectors for RG59 co-axial cable. (A small slit in the back of the package allowed my dad to remove one connector.) I hope one or more of these items are ones you would like to keep on hand in YOUR vintage electronics inventory!! Thanks for looking here! (I have lots of other small electronics from this inventory, including a large grouping of Amphenol and Switchcraft microphone connectors, and if you would like other items, I will ship them in a combined shipping, and only charge shipping for the heaviest item, and all the other items you include will ship free. Check out my other listings!! Go ahead and buy the items, but DON'T PAY until I send you an invoice with the shipping reduced for you.) (radio shelves, Amphenol 83 Series box)
