Cohen is also a member of the Board of the Royal Society of Chemistry. In his spare time, he researches his genealogy, does professional calligraphy, and has written many choral arrangements,two of which have been published.Brenda H. Cohen was an archivist at The College of New Jersey before her retirement. She has been a lecturer on cruise ships to places such as Alaska (discussing glaciers) and the Mediterranean.
