Description: Nicest American flags lapel/hat pin lots on eBay ! Each order of one (1) is ten (10) flag pins. These are very high quality new flag pins. Shiny gold-tone metal with red, white, and blue enamel. The flags have the regulation thirteen stripes and fifty stars. The border of the flag simulates a parade flag with gold fringe, die struck ridges around the edges. Very striking for a lapel or hat pin. These pins are nicely manufactured and "hefty"; about the thickness of a United States nickel coin. The clutch backs are strong and fit tight. Each flag comes in its own cellophane envelope. These are not the cheap little flimsy metal pins with the wobbly backs that you see advertised for low prices (cheap) for a large lot. These pins ARE LARGER THAN THE 3/4-inch (cheap) pins that are also listed for less. (Beware the misleading backpack photos...THESE ARE BETTER PINS) They also are not the cheap-o pins that are just a metal flag shape with a paper flag sticker pasted on! They are "cloisonné" effect; the pins are die-struck and then enamel coloring is applied by hand. The color sits lower than the raised metal lines giving the pins a textured look and feel, creating the flag's design. No epoxy coating is included on these pins--the resulting effect is brighter and dressier than with the epoxy "cap". You will see that these pins are some of the best grade you can find for affordable quantities. I don't think that you will find quantities of better pins for a lower price anywhere--$1.19 each.
