ALUGEAR chainrings use a unique tooth profile that eliminates chain noise, reduces wear and provides a more efficient drivetrain. It is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and are anodized to provide protection from mechanical impacts.You can also pair this chainring with an ALUGEAR Aero Cover. This eliminates any gaps between the crank arm and the chainring, providing additional aero benefits. Each aero cover (8100 or 9200) is designed to match the finish of the crank arm.
