Description: All photos (except the last two) were taken outside in indirect natural light. This plate was one of several on display in a china cabinet at the estate of a collector in the DC area. It was never used to serve oysters. It is glossy, immaculate, free of chips, scratches, stains, cracks, and repairs. The gold trim around the edge is fully intact, without any discernible wear or imperfections. Backstamp dates the manufacture to 1875-1909. I will ship with signature receipt.
