Description: Altona 1940s Collection 980-200 AM FM 'Vintage Looking' Radio 1995. Works Excellent! Vintage VTG This cute little replica radio is designed to look like the RCA-Victor 9X4. This radio came to me as you see it; Unused in its original box. It appears to have never had batteries installed. Radiomuseum.org says this series of novelty radios were made in 1995. As with any piece of vintage electronics, they should be tested so the buyer knows what they are getting. I tested this radio and cannot find anything wrong. It’s in perfect working order. It’s nice! Please see photos. No chips. No Cracks. No Scratches. Not a single mark. Never used. It’s clean and glossy. It comes with its original box which is also in good condition. Complete with the bit of documentation that displays how to install the batteries, and a tiny wire that is supposed to be plugged into a tiny hole in the back… just in case someone wants to tune a weak FM station… but it really doesn’t need it. FM tuned all the stations I ever tune in my area. Performance is like new. It’s sensitive. I was able to easily zoom straight to the local weak stations in my area I use to confirm a radio is working correctly. It is I usually service all the vintage radios I sell on eBay, but not this one. This is radio is 100% OEM. It’s loud. Volume control goes smoothly from totally silent to blazing overload loud.
