Description: For sale is a pair of Excellent Used Condition Allen Edmonds Sanford 5237 Burgundy Polished Cobbler Leather Cap Toe Derby Brogue Dress Shoes Men's 12 D. These shoes feature a glossy, polished burgundy leather upper, classic brogued cap toe derby dress shoe design, round waxed braided black laces, leather lining, leather insole, leather midsole, rubber topy outsole, stacked leather and rubber heel, and Goodyear Welted Construction. For reference, here are the approximate measurements (taken along the outsole): Length - 13" Width (at the ball of foot) - 4.375" These shoes have seen a good deal of wear, but have been maintained well. I suspect the Topy outsole cover was added at some point, possible during a resole or re-heel job. Regardless, since this work was done, both the outsole and heel still have a great deal of life left, in both. The maim notable issue is wear to the internal heel counter cover; it has worn through on the right shoe (see picture). This could be remedied professionally by a cobbler, or just by gluing in a flat piece of scrap leather (I could do this - just ask when buying). Regardless, they are still wearable as is. I cleaned and conditioned these shoes, inside and out, with Weimans Leather Wipes. They come from a pet and smoke-free home. Shoe trees are not included.
