This is a integral (one piece) boot knife designed by A.G. Russell in 1977 and A.G Russell by Anton Wingen in Solingen, Germany. The blade has gold-etched oak leaves & acorns on each side still in mint condition. The double edged full-tang blade is 4 inches long and drop forged from a single piece of 440-C steel. The overall length is 8.0 inches. On the blade’s ricasso, near the handle, is the year 1977 and the symbol & letters “©1977 A.G. Russel” (with one L). On the blades middle is an oval with the words Springdale Arkansas U.S.A, surrounded by the words “A.G. RUSSELL” (with 2 LLs) and the words “SOLINGEN, GERMANY”. The handle is made of beautiful ivory-colored micarta scales set with 4 nickel silver pins (2 on each side). The handle has an indented design on both sides for holding the knife with the thumb & index fingers to provide a non-slip grip. The bolster and pommel are stainless steel. The original high-quality AG. Russell leather sheath with a boot clip stamped A.G.RUSSELL SPRINGDALE ARK. The knife weighs 4.8 oz. The sheath has a small barely visible abrasion on the front side.
