These orchids are popular for their freely produced pendent spikes of closely set, fragrant blooms. Not only is it beautiful to the eye, it has a very strong and sweet fragrance. Aerides houlletiana is found in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. It grows in warm and humid environments. Flowering during May and June Aerides houlletiana produces beautiful spays of 1/2 inch to 2 inch flowers that last for several months. The flowers produces a citrus to spicy fragrance.
