Calyx Ware, a fine English Ironstone, refers to the blank on which the pattern is applied. The pattern name of this serving bowl is "Georgian." The pattern features a blue floral pattern enhanced with a gold-decorated blue band and a gold edge trim. (See photos). The bowl measures approximately 9" in length and 6-3/4" in width. It stands 2" from tabletop to top rim. This "Georgian" serving bowl is in EXCELLENT, NEAR MINT CONDITION. It bears no chips, no cracks, no flea-bites, no crazing, and no staining. As it has likely been previously used, it may have some very minor scratches from normal, careful use, but no large scratches that detract from the appearance.
