King of Flat Top A super jumbo model known as the King of Flat Top guitar. Made in 1995. Super Curly Hawaiian KOA side and back model. The top plate is the finest Sitka spruce GIBSON head logo, crown. The inlay, crown position mark, 4ply bridge inlay, and sound hole rosette are all made of Avalon. The fingerboard and bridge are made of ebony. and the neck is mahogany. All parts are original except for the saddle. The neck looks straight Around 2000, the bridge started to float, so it was repair and made overall adjustments. The saddle has been changed to Gibson TUSQ (PQ-9400-C0). The string height is 12th fret 1st string: approx. 2.7mm ( .1 inch ) /6th string: approx. 2.9mm ( .1 inch ) . If I used the original saddle that came with it, The string height would have been about 0.5mm ( .1 inch ) lower than the current one. It is in good condition . There is a painted bulge on the front of the bridge from the time of purchase. The top plate has a lacquer finish and the usual weather check. Overall it is clean. There are some dents, marks , metal discoloration , etc. Please understand that this is a used item from 28 years ago. There are various small marks that cannot be seen in the photos.
