Description: A beautiful 7 1/8 inch high statuette signed by Italian sculpture Amilcare Santini. (1910-1975). Madonna and Child. This statue figurine was made in Italy. ca. 1960-1970s under the brand name Classic Figure. Made of molded oxolyte marble dust lime resin which gives this the look of alabaster and considerable weight to the piece. Base is black marble composite. The gold sticker that is on the bottom of the base says sculpture A. Santini classic figure made in Italy. Peace measures 7 1/8" by 5" by 3 3/8" The piece is signed on the back of Mary's dress. This piece is in very nice vintage condition. No nicks, chips or breaks. Non smoking pet free home.
